Asian Ladybugs become a pest when they invade homes during the fall and winter months. Originally they were introduced in the United States as way to naturally control garden pests. These are not the native ladybugs that disappear when it gets cold. In fact this species lives many years and will seek the warmth of manmade structures when it gets cold. And once they start to invade, homes can get infested!
Asian Ladybug control can be done inside the home with aerosols like D-FORCE and ECO KO EXEMPT. You can also trap them with WINDOW TRAPS and LIGHTED LADYBUG TRAPS.
Asian Ladybug invasions can be prevented by spraying the outside of the home with CYPERMETHRIN when you see activity. This will commonly be in the spring, fall and winter.
