LADYBUG TRAPS
PRODUCT NAME: Ladybug traps.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Traps which use sexual pheromones to attract and
capture ladybugs. Pheromones are added to get ladybugs inside. Once
inside, they'll get stuck in the glue which lines the side of the trap.
When the trap gets filled you will need to replace it; they will
generally last 2-3 months. Place one in every room which has activity
to reduce numbers.
It is also important to understand the pheromones will only work at
certain times of the year. When the adults first emerge in the
late winter months, they are not thinking about reproduction.
They will fly to windows and other areas where there are lights
but will most likely ignore the traps. The traps work best in the
early spring, generally April through June and possibly again in
the fall, September through November. The response to the trap
will vary from region to region due to reproduction seasons, local
temperatures and species behavioral patterns.
TARGET PESTS: Ladybugs.
WHERE TO USE IT: Inside rooms with unwanted activity. Be sure
to space them no more than one every 25 feet. Use them outside on
a covered porch or deck to catch them before they get inside.
