BRIDGER TRAPS
PRODUCT NAME: Bridger Leghold Trap.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This is the traditional designed trap
which leg holds the target animal. There are two springs,
one on each side of the jaws, which are compressed when
setting the trap. To set, the springs are compressed and
the jaws are opened. The trip latch is then set under the
Pan which sets the trap. When the target animals steps on
the pan, they release the springs which close the jaws
on the animal.
TARGET ANIMALS: Long spring traps are used for many animals
and work well for both coyote and fox.
WHERE TO USE IT: Bridger traps can be set many different
ways. These include den sets, trail sets and food sets. Our hand
book details several but the food set is one of the best you
can make.
RATE OF APPLICATION: This will vary from job to job.
Generally, the more traps employed, the quicker you catch your
target animals. Although you can start with only one, it is
suggested that you use 2-3 where you can.
PACKAGING AND COST: Bridger traps come in many sizes. The
smallest you would want to use is the #11. This will work for fox.
The #2 and #4 are better suited for larger animals and coyote.

#4 traps are $25.00 (ITEM # 825061)
