COIL LEGHOLD TRAP





PRODUCT NAME:  Coil Leghold Trap.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   This is the leghold designed trap which will
live trap targeted animals. Generally made of steel and used by
furriers and professional trappers. This short video will show
how to set the #3 trap. Keep in mind the process is the same for
the #2 but for demonstration purposes, the larger #3 is better
for us to use in the video.



TARGET ANIMALS:   Although this trap has been used
for many animals over the years, it is still used quite a bit as
a raccoon and opossum trap.

WHERE TO USE IT:   Coil traps can be set in many different
scenarios. Follow any of the guidelines written under the Bridger
Long Spring trap page since this trap and the Bridger are to used
in the same fashion. Make sets around garbage piles, digging
locations or baited areas.

RATE OF APPLICATION:    This will vary from job to job.
Generally, the more traps employed, the quicker you catch your
target animals. Although you can start with only one, it is
suggested that you use 2-3 where you can.
