CYFLUTHRIN GRANULES
PRODUCT NAME: Cyfluthrin Granules.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Odorless granule which has cyfluthrin as the active
ingredient. As a newer compound, Cyfluthrin works great against
many pests. Very active against Bumble Bees.
TARGET PESTS: Just about any pest around the yard including bees
and wasps.
WHERE TO USE IT: In turf on and around the yard. Can be used in
flower beds and mulch areas as well. Just keep pets and children
away during the application and for the week following the
treatment. This is more for the reason that it is possible some
more bees may be active and people need to avoid the area
to insure they don't get stung.
RATE OF APPLICATION: One 10 lb bag can treat up to 5000 sq/ft of
turf when used for preventive applications. For treating
where you have Bumble Bee nests, it is suggested that you
take 5 lbs of product and disperse the granules with one
of our Granule Spreaders over an area no larger than
100 sq/ft which is a 10 foot by 10 foot square. These
need to be watered to be activated but the spraying
of the Fenvalerate over the top of them will serve
this purpose.
