CYFLUTHRIN GRANULES
PRODUCT NAME: Cyfluthrin Granules.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Odorless granule which has cyfluthrin as the active
ingredient. As a newer compound, Cyfluthrin works great against
many pests. Very active against thrips
TARGET PESTS: Just about any pest around the yard which tend
to nestle down in mulch, grass, turf, flowerbeds, etc.
WHERE TO USE IT: In turf on and around the yard. Can be used in
flower beds and mulch areas as well. Just keep pets and children
away during the application and for the week following the
treatment. This is more for the reason that it is possible some
more thrips may be active and people need to avoid the area
to insure they don't get stung.
RATE OF APPLICATION: One 10 lb bag can treat up to 5000 sq/ft of
turf when used for preventive applications. Use a
little more over areas where you know you have current
activity and want to knock out thrips that much faster.
When applied first to areas that have a lot of activity,
it is always suggested that you spray over the top with
one of the liquid concentrates we have featured in our
article which will act immediately since the granules
are time released.
