TRENCHING TOOL
PRODUCT NAME: Trenching tool. Pictured above, they have a flat
edge on one side and a pointed end for digging on the
other side. The above photo is hard to see and will
be upgraded, but if you look carefully at the small
one on the left, you can see the shape of it's head.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Tool with a point on one which enables the user
to poke through solid soil and loosen it for digging down
to create a trench. Once soil is loosened, use the other
flat side for pulling the dirt out and away from foundation
walls. Most trenches only need to be 4-6 inches deep and
this tool will work well for creating one this size. However,
you can go deeper if needed.
WHERE TO USE IT: Around any structure which is being prepared
for a termite soil treatment. The long tool is ideal for most
applications where you need to work soil adjacent to structures
and are able to do so from a standing position. The short
tool is better suited for crawl spaces, under decks and where
the use of the longer handled version is just too big.
