CAT SCAT MAT
PRODUCT NAME: Cat Scat Mat.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Thin, soft, vinyl like feeling mats which have
wires running through them. These wires are attached to a
coupler which attaches to a battery pack. This pack has a
low, medium and high setting. This setting is the amount
of power which is sent to the wires which run throughout
the mat. When powered on, this power will deliver an
uncomfortable shock to pets like dogs or cats that walk
over it. When installed, these mats are used to keep pets
out of rooms, off countertops or furniture or cars and window
sills. Pets will learn to avoid areas where these mats
are placed so they can effectively be "trained" not to
go certain places. All mats are fully constructed and need
nothing but batteries to operate. Simply install the
batteries, lay out the mat and turn it on. Each battery
pack requires one 9 volt battery.
TARGET PETS: Generally used on dogs and cats, these
mats can be used on any animal that has the ability to
feel a shock through its feet.
WHERE TO USE IT: At entrances of rooms, window sills, on the
back of couches like the one pictured above, on the
couch itself like the one pictured above, on the ground
in front of the couch, on counter tops and basically
anywhere you want to keep pets away. This is an excellent
tool to set on any car you want to keep cats off so
they don't scratch its finish. You can also
get an optional Mat Extension which can be connected
to the first battery pack. This second mat can be
used adjacent to the first mat to effectively create
a much larger surface area if needed. The mats can
get wet though the battery life could be shortened
if the mat gets grounded. However, just getting it
wet or damp will not break it.
RATE OF APPLICATION: This will based on the size of where you are
trying to keep the pet away. Clearly using the window sill
strip, pictured above on the top of the back of the couch,
will not work at keeping pets from entering a room. All they
have to do is jump or step over it. Simply install a mat
which either covers the area you want to protect or one that
is too big for the pet to cross so it won't enter designated
areas of the home. Use the Mat Window Strip for window sills,
ledges, stair way edges, and anywhere you need to have a long
thin mat of protection. Use either the medium or large mats
for furniture, door ways and other areas where a larger area
of protection is needed like entrances to certain rooms or
even right on cars to stop pets from climbing on them.
PACKAGING AND COST: We have three sizes available. Be sure to get
one that will offer maximum protection yet fit in the area
where you intend on having it installed. Here are your options.
CAT SCAT MAT STRIP: This mat measures 46" long and 3" wide. It
is pictured above, on the top part of the back of the couch,
and is generally used for long narrow areas like window sills
or the top of furniture. It comes with
the power pack as pictured. The power pack attaches to the
mat with snaps and extensions can be added by attaching an
Extension Mat to the opposite end. Extensions are attached
with the same type of snaps. When connected, the total length
of the strip will be almost 90 inches. The extension strip
has another set of snaps at its far end so that another
extension can be added if needed (ITEM # 742174)

CAT SCAT MAT MEDIUM RECTANGLE: This mat measures 30" x 16". It
comes like the large rectangle one pictured above, with a
power pack and the rectangular mat. It will work for small
jobs where you don't have the room to fit the large.
The medium comes with the power pack as
pictured. You can also add an extension which measures the
same 30" x 16". It comes with an extension cord that is over
11 feet long. The cord snaps to the extension on one end
and the Primary mat on its other. The power pack will then
power both mats. Placements can be adjacent, overlaying
one another or apart depending on need (ITEM # 742170)

CAT SCAT MAT LARGE RECTANGLE: This mat measures 48" x 20" and
is pictured above on the cushions. It too comes with a power
pack. It is exactly like the Medium mat but larger.
Extensions are attached the same way as on the Medium mat and measure 48" x 16".
Like the Medium, the large can be extended by laying the mat alongside,
overlayed or away from the Primary mat (ITEM # 742178)
