PRODUCT NAME: Lamda-Cyhalothrin. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Microencapsulated synthetic pyrethroid which is a new active that works well for many types of turf pests. It only requires a small amount to do its' job so a little goes a long way. It is both odorless and easy to apply with a hose end sprayer. TARGET PESTS: Most any insect in or around the home including grubs. WHERE TO USE IT: This product can be applied directly to grass, turf, flower beds, mulch areas and just about anywhere grubs are a problem. It won't hurt landscaping or the soil and since it will control a broad range of insects, it is an excellent material to have applied in or around the home. RATE OF APPLICATION: One oz of concentrate treats about 4400 sq/ft of turf. When using it in our 6 Gallon Hose End Sprayer, add 8 ounces of Spreader Sticker to the tank along with 1 oz of the Lamda-Cyhalothrin for every 4400 sq/ft you want to treat. This is not a round figure and it could be confusing but this is the rate at which these two products need to be applied. 4400 sq/ft is an area about 60 ft by 73 ft in dimensions. The rule to follow here is to make sure the area you are treating is no larger then 4400 sq/ft and the easiest thing to do in most cases is to use what you believe to be an area measuring no more than 4000 sq/ft. This way if you underestimate the sq/footage you have a buffer zone to compensate for any mistake. This compensation buffer amount will prevent applying too little. Make these applications once a month for at least two months when treating an active infestation. If you are treating for preventive reasons, 1-2 applications per year on top of the Granules will do the job. SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact of concentrate and diluted tank mix by wearing surgical or rubber gloves. Keep people and pets away and off treated surfaces till they are dry. Eye and breathing protection is generally not needed but there are certain times when such protection should be used. Further storage, handling and use details are covered in this video.
