ROPEL LIQUID REPELLENT
PRODUCT NAME: Ropel Spray.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: An odorless spray which has
a bad taste and will stop unwanted gnawing and chewing
on treated surfaces.
TARGET PESTS: Any animal which is chewing or eating. If Ropel
is sprayed on what is being destroyed, the animal will stop. Ropel works
great on rodents, birds, dogs and nutria. It won't hurt targeted
animals but instead will motivate them to find food elsewhere.
WHERE TO USE IT: Any type of plant, shrub or other object you want
to protect from being chewed. The liquid is clear and though it
has a slight odor when applied, this will quickly dissipate.
Be sure to apply it onto any flowers you want to keep nutria
from eating.
RATE OF APPLICATION: This is vague. A heavy rain following
a treatment would mean you probably have to treat again. However, if it
does not rain for some time following a treatment you may expect the
Ropel to last a few weeks. In general, you treat as needed. Trace
amounts of it will be detected by the target animal and they will
generally look for something else to chew. In extreme cases you
may need to keep applications fresh until all active animals are gone.
