BORACARE
PRODUCT NAME: Boracare.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Clear, odorless, molasses like material
which mixes with water. Once mixed, it becomes like
water. Apply it with a pump sprayer or a paint brush.

TARGET PESTS: Horntails, powder post beetles, termites,
carpenter ants, decay fungi and old house borers.
WHERE TO USE IT: Just about anywhere. It can be used inside
and outside. Use it on siding, decks, furniture, wall units,
structural members like floor joists or sill plate, framing,
molding and basically anything which is a wood that either
has activity or which is suspect to have activity. Since
treatments will protect the wood from so many types of
insects and other wood destroying organisms, having as
much possibly treated won't hurt.
RATE OF APPLICATION: The rate at which Boracare is applied will
largely be determined by the thickness of the wood you
are spraying. When treating 1-2 inch wood, expect to get
about 500-1000 sq/ft of coverage per gallon of concentrate.
To mix, use one gallon of warm to hot water in a pail
which can hold at least 3 gallons. Add the Boracare mixing
it as it is added. The syrupy Boracare will take about 1
minute to become completely dissolved. At this point the
finished solution will look like water and will pour
like water. Apply it with one of our sprayers or a paint
brush for exact applications. Be sure to get the required
amount applied to the designated treatment area which will
insure proper coverage. Once applied, it will take 24-48
hours to completely cure. During this time the product will
soak into the wood. Once cured, the wood will look like
nothing was done to it. However, through the wood will be
the Boracare so that if any type of wood feeding insect
tries to eat some of it they will die. Treatments done
inside the home will provide protection 10 years or more.
Outside applications need to be redone every 3- 5 years
depending on the local weather.

The "Mixer", also seen in the video, will enable mixing the Boracare with
water a lot easier and is highly recommended if you don't have one. We've
found this specific design to perform better compared to other paint mixers
currently available on the market today.
