DRIONE DUST
PRODUCT NAME: Drione Dust.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Drione is a low odor dust which is
white and works as a dessicant on insects. Once on them, Drione cuts
away at their exoskeleton and then robs them of vital moisture. This
unique formulation will last over a year in treated voids. It is also
a safe product to use. Watch this video to learn just what makes Drione

TARGET PESTS: Bees and Wasps like horntails.
WHERE TO USE IT: In their exit holes or where you see them
entering or exiting cracks and crevices.
RATE OF APPLICATION: This is hard to say. Many times you
are treating a nest which is several feet long which would require
a lot more material than one which is 6 inches long. In general,
expect to treat 5-10 holes when using the small 8 ounce ready to
use can. Get the larger bulk size if you are treating more than
10 holes. The larger size will enable you to treat large areas
and a lot of holes quickly and effectively.
ORGANIC ALTERNATIVE: ECO EXEMPT DUST
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: Keep out of reach of children
and pets. Avoid contact of the dust by wearing surgical, rubber
or work gloves. Keep people and pets away and off treated
surfaces till any spilled dust has been removed and the area
allowed to settle. Eye and breathing protection is needed when
treating in confined areas like an attic or crawl space. Further

PACKAGING AND COST: The 8 ounce can on the left is an aerosol
and is good for small jobs. It can cover about 100 sq/ft. It
will not need a Hand Duster to use but it is limited in how

Most jobs will need the bulk packaging or loose Drione.
This packaging is best suited for large voids and wall
treatments. Use a Hand Duster to get a good application.
Drione 1 lb Jars are out of production till the spring of 2009. At this time
we only have the 5 lb Tubs:

If the 5 lb Tub is too large for your need, consider getting our
"Drione Dust Replacement Kit". This kit is comprised of the following:
1) Two 8 oz jars of Mothers Earth Dust. This product is long lasting
and works as a desiccant by dehydrating target pests. Much like Drione
Dust, insects don't like touching it and will usually avoid areas
where it is applied. If they walk over treated surfaces, they'll pick
up some dust which in turn will "dry them out".
2) One 20 oz jar of Cyfluthrin Dust. Helps by "flushing" insects.
Add equal parts of both dusts to your duster (Crusader, Centro, etc.)
and the mixed dust will yield results that will be similar to the
Drione. The Cyfluthrin Dust should activate target pests much like
the Pyrethrin does in the Drione Dust. Once activated, insects will
either die from this exposure or they'll get dehydrated by the
Mothers Earth Dust. This desiccant dust works mechanically on insects
robbing them of vital moisture (in a similar way the Silica Gel does
in Drione).
