MOISTURE METER





PRODUCT NAME:   Moisture Meter.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   Battery operated tool which measures the relative
moisture that is present in wood. It features two metal
"probes", which are about a 1/4" long, and used to penetrate
wood. When inserted, there is an automatic "on" switch which
makes the unit operational. It has settings for different
kinds of wood, comes with a carry bag and includes a chart
for measurement interpretation. There is also a set of longer
probes - 7/16" long - should deeper penetration be needed.

WHERE TO USE IT:   Attics, crawl spaces, living areas, wall voids
and basically anywhere you have something constructed of wood
which may be harboring or absorbing too much moisture. By
watching these levels you can better identify if structural
members of your home, furniture or other wood constructed
items are subject to mold and/or decay fungi.
