BODYGRIP 220 KILL TRAPS





PRODUCT NAME:   Bodygrip 220 Trap.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   7" x 7" square heavy steel trap which has
two springs for strong setting. The springs are in the shape
of a "V" and when set, compress the tops of the "V" together. 
There is a safety latch on each "V" so that once compressed, 
you can latch it for holding it set. Once both "V"'s are 
compressed, you set the key into the groove of the trigger.
Now, place the trap where you want to make the set. Once in
place, the safety latches are released and the Bodygrip is
now ready to work. Because of the strength required to compress
these "V" springs, it is generally suggested that you get a
set of Setters. These will enable you to compress the springs
with a lot of leverage and make working with 220's much easier.

TARGET ANIMALS:   Although this trap has been used
primarily for beaver, it will work well for other nuisance
animals like rabbit. It is more then powerful enough to
deliver enough force to kill any rabbit immediately when
they set it off. 

WHERE TO USE IT:   Bodygrip traps can be set many different
ways but the most common for rabbit is to place the trap
directly in their path. Such locations include holes
through fences, thick brush where they are traveling
and over their holes. Use Bodygrip Stands to enable
you to secure the trap well enough for a level set.
When placed at ground level, the rabbit will set it
off as it enters the jaws and pushes on the trigger.

RATE OF APPLICATION:    This will vary from job to job.
Generally, the more traps employed, the quicker you catch your
target animals. Although you can start with only one, it is
suggested that you use 2-3 if you have 2-3 passage ways. To
be 100% effective, make a set over any trail you can find.
This will force the targeted animal to get caught.
