PRODUCT NAME:   Bird Sounding Device.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   Small electronic device, which is powered
by a small AC adapter, that plays the sound of different
predatory birds like owls and hawks. When a target enters
the field of detection, the unit will play a sequence of
predatory bird sounds which will cause the target to promptly
leave. The field of view of the motion detector is about
130 degrees and 30 feet out. This gives the motion detector
an effective range of almost 4000 sq/ft.

If this coverage is not large enough, you can set the device
to sound off automatically. This adjustment is a variable
setting and will cause the sounds to play every 5 to every
30 minutes. There is also a volume control allowing you to
set it at the level adequate for the coverage area. 

This device also has a light sensor and will not operate 
during the night. For this reason you will need to keep it
close to a light that is turned on if you want the sound
to operate during the night when it dark. This can be
accomplished by keeping it close to a spot light outside
or a under a ceiling lamp when used in an attic or crawl
space inside the home. However, for outside chipmunk 
applications, this is usually not needed.

This unit is mostly used outside but it can be set up to
function in attics or crawl spaces. In such areas, it is
best if artificial light is present so the Bird Chaser is
always set and ready to sound off. Such set up will allow
it to function well for keeping small rodents away.

TARGET PEST:   Chipmunks, mice, rats, gophers and squirrels.

WHERE TO USE IT:   Outside the home where nuisance animals
are not wanted.

RATE OF APPLICATION:    Up to 10,000 sq/ft effectively though it
can have a larger range if the sound released is not
muffled and has an unobstructed path to travel.
