PESTICIDE TREATMENT WARNING SIGN





PRODUCT NAME:   Pesticide Treatment Warning Sign.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   This type of sign is used by commercial landscapers
who treat yards with fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides and
other products. Many states and local governments have adopted
laws requiring that such signs be placed out to alert anyone
walking on the turf that it was recently treated and should
be avoided. It depicts an adult, a pet and a child and in most
cases will cause people to stay clear of any yard or area.
The Stakes are plastic with tapered ends so they will fit
into the ground easily. They measure 20 inches long and are
cut to fit into small holes each sign has at the top and
bottom edges. Each sign is 5.5" by 5.5" and shows and adult,
a smaller person and a pet along with the words "KEEP OFF
UNTIL DRY". Using some white out to remove the words "UNTIL
DRY" might enable them to have even more of an impact. 

WHERE TO USE IT:   Generally they should be placed along property lines.
Common areas include along the curb where most people tend
to walk their pet. However, use them along back yard borders
and side property lines. When an actual Granule has been
applied, something like the Ropel, the impact of the signs
will be that much greater. 

RATE OF APPLICATION:    Install a sign every 10 feet along any border
or area you want to protect. Made to last 2-4 weeks, they
can be used over and over but should be replaced when they
start to look worn. Keeping them looking fresh will enable
them to have the greatest impact. If you have a need for 
more permanent signage, get the PVC models. They cost a
bit more but can last 6 months or more.
