HOSE END SPRAYER
PRODUCT NAME: Dial-A-Mix Hose End Sprayer.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This piece of equipment enables you to treat garden and yard
areas easily. The desired chemical concentrate is put into the
sprayer and then the dial on top is adjusted to the right setting.
The concentrate is then sucked out of the tank and mixed at
the nozzle of the sprayer. Mixture is accurate and precise. You
are able to restore unused chemical concentrate. This sprayer
enables you to pump big amounts of water which is needed when
treating trenches for termites. View this in depth video which does
a good job of explaining just how this sprayer works. Remember,
the examples in the video do not apply to the products we recommend
for this pest. These rates and does will depend on which product
you end up getting. Just ask and we'll be able to provide specific
settings, etc., that you'll need to use.
If you want a little better quality unit, go for the "Dial A Mix "Pro".
It works just like the basic Dial-A-Mix but it has a few more features
as this video details.
RATE OF APPLICATION: This sprayer has adjustments which advance in teaspoons. You
may be able to set it at one teaspoon or as much as 21 teaspoons
which is about 3 1/2 ounces per gallon. Here are the settings when
using this sprayer to apply the Termiticide Products we have featured
in this article.
1) When treating with the Consumer Grade Termiticide, set the dial at
21 and distribute 16 oz at a time over 7.5 linear feet.
2) There are two settings to use when applying the Professional Concentrate:
Set the dial at 9 and distribute 16 oz at a time over 30 linear feet if
you want to achieve a residual which will last 2-3 years.
3) Set the dial at 12 and distribute 16 oz at a time over 15 linear feet if
you want to achieve a residual which will last at least 5 years.
