GARDEN HOSE END SPRAYER
PRODUCT NAME: Dial-A-Mix Hose End Sprayer.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This piece of equipment enables you to treat garden and yard
areas easily. The chemical concentrate is put into the sprayer
and then the dial on top is adjusted to the right setting. Next
you attach it to your hose. When you squeeze the trigger of this
sprayer, the concentrate is then sucked out of the tank and mixed at
the nozzle of the sprayer. Mixture is accurate and precise. You
are able to restore unused chemical concentrate for future use since
no water goes into the sprayer tank. This sprayer enables you to
pump big amounts of water for turf applications and since it is working
off of the water from a garden hose you can usually reach high places

If you want a little better quality unit, go for the "Dial A Mix "Pro".
It works just like the basic Dial-A-Mix but it has a few more features
as this video details.
RATE OF APPLICATION:
This sprayer has adjustments which advance in teaspoons. You
may be able to set it at one teaspoon or as much as 21 teaspoons
which is about 3 1/2 ounces per gallon. There are two adjustments
you should use for Mosquito Control when using Fenvalerate or
Fenvalerate and Nylar combined.
For Fenvalerate spraying only, a good amount to apply is 1 oz
of concentrate for every 1500 sq/ft. To accomplish this, mark
off 1500 sq/ft, add 1 oz of concentrate and set the dial to
2. Apply the entire 1 oz over the 1500 sq/ft. If you wanted
to treat 7500 sq ft, you would need to add 5 oz of concentrate
but still keep the setting on 2. Be sure to use all 5 oz of
material over the 7500 sq/ft to insure proper coverage.
For Fenvalerate and Nylar spraying combined, use the same
1 oz of Fenvalerate per 1500 sq/ft. Add equal amounts of
Nylar to the holding tank and then set the dial to 4.
Shake the sprayer up for 5-10 seconds insuring that
the two concentrates are well mixed and then treat.
You will effectively be applying 2 oz of the mixture per
1500 sq/ft which will give you proper coverage for both
concentrates. If you are wanting to treat a 7500 sq/ft
area, you will need to use 5 oz of each and the sprayer
would still be set to 4.
