PRODUCT NAME: Orthene WP for turf and ornamentals.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: White powder with a strong odor. It has
a 75% Acephate as the active.
TARGET PESTS: Many pests are on the label.
WHERE TO USE IT: In turf and plant bed areas.
RATE OF APPLICATION: 1.9 ounces to 1000 sq/ft of turf. This means
you can treat over 8,000 sq/ft per 16 ounce jar.
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: Keep out of reach of children
and pets. Avoid contact of concentrate and diluted tank mix
by wearing surgical or rubber gloves. Wear long sleeved
shirts, pants, socks, shoes and impervious gloves (rubber
or surgical) when mixing and treating. Keep people and
pets away and off treated surfaces till they are dry. Eye
and breathing protection is needed when spraying overhead
or in a confined area like a crawl space or attic. Further
