HOSE END SPRAYER
PRODUCT NAME: 6 Gallon Hose End Sprayer.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Hose sprayer which is filled
with insecticide or fertilizer and water, hooked up to a garden hose and
then used to spray over grass and other areas in the yard. The
great advantage of this sprayer is that it will pump a lot of
water over targeted sights quickly which is definitely needed
when treating for mole crickets.
WHERE TO USE IT: Outside for turf and yard applications.
HOW TO USE IT: When applying Talstar, there are two rates
for mole crickets.
If preventive treating, you only need to use 1/2
ounce per 1000 sq/ft of turf. Add 1.5 ounces of Talstar,
6 ounces of Lemon Joy dish detergent and fill to the
top line of the sprayer tank with water. Now hook the
top of the sprayer to your hose ( which is always
easier to do before the tank is attached ) and you
are ready to treat. To spray, simply turn your water
faucet on, push the little lever forward on the sprayer
top by the nozzle and water will start to flow out.
However, no chemical will be mixing unless you hold
a finger over the little hole. By doing holding your
finger there you will create a vacuum so that the
contents of the tank will be "sucked" out and mixed
with the water that is moving through the sprayer
top. Spray the entire amount over 3000 sq/ft.
If curative treating, follow the same exact details
as listed above but instead of only adding 1/2 ounce
of Talstar per tankful, you will be adding 3 ounces.
Again, spray the entire amount over 3000 sq/ft.
