ESFENVALERATE CONCENTRATE






PRODUCT NAME:   Esfenvalerate concentrate.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   Emulsifiable concentrate which is
very active on bees and wasps.  Odorless, safe around pets and children
and easy to use.

TARGET PESTS:   Bumblebees.

WHERE TO USE IT:   Esfenvalerate is labeled for use inside as
well as outside.  When treating bumble bee nests and you are
not sure where it is, simply spray directly over the area 
where activity is highest.  When mixed with spreader sticker, 
it will soak into the ground insuring complete coverage.
Esfenvalerate will start to kill the nest immediately. Since it
provides residual, bees that don't receive a direct spraying
will start to die as they emerge in the days following the
treatment.  Generally, within a week or two, the nest should
be dead.  If you still have activity, you will need to treat
again. For extra measure, it is always a big help to apply
some Cyfluthrin Granules first and then spray over the top.
This insures the nest will be knocked out with one application
and should be done if you are not confident about nest
location, nest size or nest depth.

RATE OF APPLICATION:    This product is designed to go a long way
when being applied over turf. However, for cases where nest
location is not exactly known, it is better to concentrate
you application and keep it confined. This will prove to
be a big help in getting the product deep into the ground
where the nest may be located. Use the Hose End Sprayer
we feature for this application which will enable you
to pump a lot of water insuring deeper penetration and
better coverage. If you know exactly where the nest is 
located and feel it is both a shallow and small nest,
add 2 ounces of Esfenvalerate along with 2 ounces of
Spreader Sticker to the sprayer. Fill 1/3 way with water
and spray over the nest sight. If you are not quite
sure where the nest is located nor just how deep it might
be, you will be better served using more product along
with some Cyfluthrin Granules. Once the Granules have
been applied, pour 4 ounces of Esfenvalerate into the 
Sprayer and then add 4 ounces of Spreader Sticker.
Next, fill the Sprayer tank 1/2 way with water. Now
attach to your garden hose and disperse the entire
amount over no more than a 25 sq/ft area. The water
being used to spray the chemical will also serve
you by activating the granules. This added material
will insure a deep and longer lasting application
so the nest will assuredly die and not be missed.
