GOPHER LEGHOLD TRAPS
PRODUCT NAME: Gopher Leghold Traps.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Trap which catches gophers by their legs.
The trap is set in tunnels through which gophers are known to
be traveling and when they step on the trip pan they will
activate the trap which will then grab them securely on any
of their four legs. The traps come with chains and should
be attached to stakes which are then buried in the ground.
You must secure the trap with stakes since gophers are
strong enough to drag the trap far from where you catch
them. Predators are likely to smell the gophers and try
to dig them up so securing the trap will help prevent
trap loss. Gophers will be removed by the predator but they
will leave the trap.
WHERE TO USE IT: Along main burrows and tunnels around mounds.
Place on the bottom of the tunnel
RATE OF APPLICATION: Try to place one in any tunnel which you believe
is active. The more you have set the quicker you will trap
targeted gophers.
PACKAGING AND COST: Leghold traps are available in two forms; the
traditional Long Spring design and the newer Coil type. The Long
Spring is available in a #0 or a #1 which are featured in the
picture above. The # 0 is the smallest leghold made which is on
the far left of the picture. (ITEM # 825050)
The # 1 long spring is in the middle of the picture (ITEM # 825052)
The Coil is available in a #1 only and is pictured all the way
to the right in the picture (ITEM # 822530)
Any combination of 6 traps will get you a 10% discount and any
