GOPHER SNARES





PRODUCT NAME:   Gopher Snares.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   Snaring is a method of trapping gophers which is
generally done by trained trappers. Snares are tedious to work
with and require skill when deciding where to make the set and
then determining which one will be best given the set of
conditions. Snaring is very effective; a good set will produce
animals in a day. When set properly, snares will be along
tunnels which gophers are currently using. They will enter
the snare as they move about their daily travel routes
and once entered, will be caught. Most animals will remain
trapped for a day before dying.

TARGET ANIMALS:   Snares are used for many animals although
these are designed specifically for gophers or rats.

WHERE TO USE IT:   Snare cables can be set many different
ways. The most common is along main burrows and lateral
tunnels leading away from gopher mounds.

RATE OF APPLICATION:    This will vary from job to job.
Generally, the more snares set, the quicker you catch your
target animals. Try to make sets for as many mounds that you
believe are active. This will insure a quick catch.

PACKAGING AND COST:   Snares are available in three cable sizes.
Gophers are small animals and the use of our Light Snares
is generally all that is needed. They are for 6 (ITEM # 827131)
 
Our Medium Snares are per set of 6 and may be too 
big for some animals but needed on others (ITEM # 827135)
