GRANULAR FUNGICIDE





PRODUCT NAME:   Granular Fungicide. We have two types; pictured 
above is our Daconil but we also have Bayleton. It is
suggested that you rotate them at least once per season.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:   Granular form of fungicide which are both
easy to apply and transport; a good material for turf disease 
like Dollar Spot or Brown Patch. Granules need to be watered
in and will then be absorbed by the turf as it grows.
This systemic action will provide strong grass that is
less susceptible to local fungus. The granules need to 
be applied via a spreader such as the ones we have featured 
in our article.

TARGET DISEASE:   Brown patch, dollar spot and many others.   


WHERE TO USE IT:   Any type of turf or mulch areas which have
disease.

RATE OF APPLICATION:    Both granules have two rates; curative and
preventive. 

For the Daconil Granules, use 4 lbs per 1000 sq/ft for preventive
applications and 6-8 lbs per 1000 sq/ft for treatment of active
fungus. It is always best to reapply them every two weeks during
the course of the growing season if you don't want any unexpected
break outs. It won't hurt fescue, zoysia, bermuda or any type of
turf and if applied throughout the season, your grass will look
great and remain green and strong.

For the Bayleton, use 1.5 lbs per 1000 sq/ft for preventive
applications; 3 lbs per 1000 sq/ft for curative applications. If 
you treat before the fungus starts you can space your applications
every two weeks during the growing and fungus season. Like the
Daconil listed above, it will not hurt any kind of grass and
once it has been absorbed, your turf will remain green and
healthy all through the growing season.

** IT IS BEST TO USE BOTH SO LOCAL FUNGUS DOES NOT DEVELOP 
RESISTANCE. USE ONE TYPE FOR 2 APPLICATIONS AND THEN CHANGE
TO THE OTHER TYPE FOR 2 APPLICATIONS, ETC. ALSO, IT IS 
IMPORTANT TO TREAT REGARDLESS OF WEATHER PATTERNS ONCE
THE GROWING SEASON STARTS IF YOU INTEND ON KEEPING THE GRASS
LOOKING GREAT !!! **

PACKAGING AND COST:   

Coverage is 1.5 lbs per 1000 sq/ft for "preventive" applications.
Coverage is 3 lbs per 1000 sq/ft for "curative" applications.

Get enough to treat the infected yard at least twice.
