huge boxelder bug problem

I have a huge problem with boxelder bugs! They seem to be all over my yard and in the winter they do come into the house. If I spray with viper how long will this treatment last? I have a large yard so what would you suggest. Thank you for your help. Larry

I would get the yard treated now and stay on it. The VIPER can be used in a HOSE END SPRAYER and if you saturate all their nest sites now, you should be able to reduce their number substantially by treating every month from now through fall.

In my yard they’re most active in the pine straw and other mulch areas so that’s what I target. They got real bad last fall and I failed to notice so this winter they were starting to accumulate on my house. That’s when I realized the problem and have been on it for the past 6 months. I got good results after just 3 months of treating my house and yard but I’m still treating my pine straw to insure they don’t rebound (I just treated again yesterday). So far so good.

And if you use 1 oz of Viper per 1000 sq/ft sprayed over any areas of the yard where you see them nesting you too should be able to knock them out. And come fall, treat the house too since that’s when box elders typically make the move to over winter on someplace nice and warm like homes.
